"I first heard about Pinnacle in 2009 when a colleague was leaving a national based PT group to open his own practice as a partner with Pinnacle. I was intrigued! I had never considered ownership as a career option. Through him, I was introduced to the Pinnacle leadership and over the years I had several conversations with them. First, it was simply to seek a position as a staff PT before exploring partnership options. Pinnacle persevered through a couple attempts until the right opportunity arose. While I had the initial contact and connection locally, Pinnacle worked tirelessly and methodically to develop that connection over 6 years, many hours of dedicated, persistent and creative discussions; we finally were able to see the dream come to fruition and together we opened Alliance physical Therapy in Portland, Maine in October 2015. With our aligned vision of what high quality patient care looks like, PRN’s work and support did not end there. They have been invaluable partners providing expertise that fits like a glove, allowing me to focus on my strengths of high quality PT treatment, developing community relationships, mentorship my clinical staff and developing referral sources. "My first year out of PT school, I began my career in western New Hampshire, but my long-term goal was always to make my way to the Seacoast. Having completed a clinical rotation in the area, I knew it was where I ultimately wanted to be. When an opportunity opened at Somersworth Physical Therapy with Dan Lombardi, I immediately felt it could be the right fit, and a few days later I was offered the position.

Within weeks, I relocated across the state to a city I had never even visited, found an apartment, and began my journey with Pinnacle. During my time at Somersworth Physical Therapy, Dan Lombardi challenged me, mentored me, and played a pivotal role in shaping me into the clinician I am today. As I grew within the clinic, I took on increasing responsibilities and was eventually promoted to Clinic Supervisor.

Shortly after that promotion, Dan approached me with an opportunity that would take my career to the next level- partnering with him to open a second location in Dover. Without hesitation, I said yes. Over the following months, both Dan Lombardi and Dan Fleury invested in me, guiding me through the process of becoming a partner and preparing me for the responsibilities of clinic ownership.

At no point did I question taking this step. Owning a clinic had always been a dream of mine, though I wasn’t always sure it would be attainable. Pinnacle made that dream a reality. What makes this opportunity even more meaningful is that I never had to step away from patient care. I became a physical therapist because I genuinely love working with patients, it’s an incredibly rewarding profession. Partnering with Pinnacle has allowed me to continue treating while also growing as a leader, supported by an exceptional team behind me."

"My journey as a physical therapist started like many others, graduating from PT school, passing my boards, and diving into the job search. I came across Alliance PT in Portland and was immediately drawn to both the clinic and the broader Pinnacle Rehabilitation Network. There wasn’t even a job posting at the time, but I found the owner’s email online and decided to take a chance by reaching out. He had me come in the next week for an interview, my first PT interview ever. We talked, walked through the clinic, and then he had me crack his neck on the spot, which was honestly pretty nerve-wracking. Luckily, I had gone through a manipulation training program in school, so I was able to do it, and I guess it went well because I got the job!

I went on to spend nearly seven years at Alliance, growing tremendously as a clinician. When I felt ready for a new challenge, I knew I wanted to stay within Pinnacle because of the strong support system and collaborative network it provides. I transitioned to Accel in Brunswick, where I continued to develop professionally. After about a year and a half, I realized I was ready to take the next step toward ownership. Through Pinnacle’s Partner in Training program, I had the opportunity to work closely with leadership, including multiple meetings with Dan, the president, to better understand what partnership would look like. That experience solidified my goal, and with the support of the network, I was able to open my own clinic. Looking back, I’m incredibly grateful for the path I’ve taken, from a new graduate reaching out for an opportunity, to becoming a clinic owner, all within a network that has supported my growth every step of the way."
